San Scout are a London-based duo, who write and produce in makeshift studios all over town. Freddy & Jonny are never settled in one place for long and this comes through in the restless, genre-bending nature of their music. Drawing influence from folk music and combining this with a background in electronic music production and a love for glitchy beats, the pair have created their unique, punchy yet atmospheric sound.
San Scout have been picking up support from early on, with the likes of BBC Introducing & Radio1. After being named in the Guardian’s ‘bands to watch’, the act have been generating a loyal following on both sides of the pond, represented by the strong recent Spotify love in their additions to global mainstream playlists such as New Music Friday, Chill Vibes and The New Indie Mix.
