Mountain Boy is the stage name of Australian-born singer-songwriter and producer Aaron Clarke. Now based in New Zealand, he has cultivated a dedicated and loyal international fanbase through his authentic approach to music and songwriting. Recognized for his deep understanding of folk music, Mountain Boy draws people in through story, sound and song.

Over the years, he has supported prominent acts such as Boy & Bear, The Paper Kites, and Avalanche on their trans-Tasman tours, gaining valuable exposure and experience.

In 2024, Mountain Boy released his debut album, The Days, a selfproduced folk-rock masterpiece that showcases his skill as a songwriter

and producer. The album received critical acclaim and continues to connect with fans nearly two years after its release, cementing his reputation as an emerging talent in the folk-rock scene.

Having recently finished recording his highly anticipated second album, Mountain Boy is poised for a breakout year in 2026.
