Heatwave Magazine & All Star Booking Presents the legendary Belfast punk / Power pop band Protex, from the Good Vibrations Label. They'll be playing all the classic singles along with songs off their latest album "wicked ways".
Alongside "the british golden boys of Powerpop" London's own The Speedways, bringing their own brand of late 70s/ early 80s style power pop akin to the best of stiff records. They'll be playing some new songs from their upcoming album, a rare London appearance for them.
Kicking things off will be Teen punk sensations Quick Romance;
the bass line from The Rezillos’ “Flying Saucer Attack” married the vocal line from X-Ray Spex’s “Oh Bondage, Up Yours!”, with The Shangri-Las as bridesmaids; that’s Quick Romance. Singer, Matilda Scotland and her bandmates are real mean teens, in love with clothes, music and Brian Jones’s hair.
We've got the fantastic DJ's Hey Paula and Sara Perry Tonite (Italy) playing the finest punk and rock N roll records before, between and after bands.
