"BE GOOD are a four-piece from Oxford, formed after Ash (vocalist) and Charlie (drums) met in a ceramic arts class. A shared passion for clay led to bonding over rap music in a London flat. Relocating to Oxford, they enlisted James (synths) and Patch (bass), fellow patrons of a local pub, to start a band. Named after 96-year-old chemistry professor John B. Goodenough, BE GOOD started releasing songs in response to small-town suburban boredom.
Everything's Alright In The Evening EP followed debut EP God of Nowhere, with editorial coverage from Complex, The Line of Best Fit, DIY, as well as Spotify playlist support e.g. Chill Vibes, Alternative R&B, Indie Pop, All New Indie.
Live shows include supporting Willie J Healey on a UK tour in 2019, culminating in a sold-out show at Omeara in London. The band headlined at Colours Hoxton in 2022, and is set to play The Lexington on November 24, 2023.
