The Royston Club are the Wrexham band tipped by Gigwise as “the new band from Wales most likely to do a Catfish”. 2021 saw the band fly past four million streams on Spotify alone, sell out a debut vinyl run in 24 hours, and sell out a 12-date debut UK headline tour.
LIZZIE ESAU - Lizzie Esau (pronounced EESAW) was born in London but raised in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne within a very artistic family (artist mother and musician father) Lizzie discovered her love of performing early, writing songs from the age of 4. Fast forward to 21, Lizzie has was shortlisted by BBC R1 for the Live Lounge Competition 2021. The band were selected from thousands to play Radio 1's Big Weekend, plus made it to Radio 1’s Introducing Track of the Week (27/05/22) supported by Gemma Bradley. Voted Tip for 22 by BBC Radio Newcastle. When Lizzie’s not writing songs or playing live she’s busy studying Architecture at Uni or hanging our with her dog Flash.
