More about the single, Nature Boy... His first offering is ‘Nature Boy’: cinematic soul synths grounded by a thundering baseline, a sonic collision between Todd Rundgren and Dr Dre. In vocals that alternately shamble and soar, MF evokes eden ahbez’s Nature Boy in 2019: asking how to do good in our maybe-doomed world.

“The greatest thing you’ll ever learn, is just to love and be loved in return” (from ‘Nature Boy’ by eden ahbez)

“The song is a reckoning with the situation we find ourselves in… growth and acceptance faces opposition from a sometimes heartbreaking reality. eden’s Nature Boy’s maxim still rings true - it just seems in need of an update… We’re all the hero in our own stories - you could think about it as a theme song for a hopeful person in a fucked up world.” - MF Tomlinson

Co written with Angus James (keys) & arranged with James & Ed Grimshaw (drums), Nature Boy features signature performances from vocalist Connie Chatwin and flautist Ami Koda, who appears alongside Tomlinson in the single art by Nali.

More about the night... I am lucky enough to be joined onstage by these talented mfs: Angus James, Ed Grimshaw, Ami Koda, Connie Chatwin & Viljam Nybacka. Also we got the best bill for you -

Ed Dowie Ed Dowie is incredible artist who creates music in a singular, choral style which is etherial, melancholic and sublime. His most recent work 'The Uncle Sold' out now on Lost Map is a masterpiece. He shared the stage with Gruff Rhys at the Barbican and now he's playing with us lot.

Zooz were so damn great at Sebright Arms we had to get them back. From the scene that brought you Hunck, Yoofs and the Dolce Vita, the slacker collective have been honing their Teenage Fanclub & Ariel Pink inspired sound & return with their best songs to date!

Tomas Jef
Artist Tomas Jef takes us on mind bending journeys with his video synthesizers. His most recent show Rated X played to critical acclaim at the The Yard & The Rio in 2018. Billed as a sensory overload, it was absolutely incredible! He'll be doing live projections with his video machines to accompany the set! Check out all his work right here->

Acali DJs
Acali will be spinning inspirations from their exciting new project all night!
