Feels like we made it… Against all the odds we’ve reached that significant milestone of ten years! We’ve had ups, downs and many a sideways in what’s been a really quite unexpected decade!

The most important people we want to extend our thanks to are our loyal customers, you’re our bread and butter and without your hunger for live music and an unquenchable thirst for beers reaching this milestone would have been impossible. We want to thank everyone who’s ever attended a gig or drank a drink from the bottom of our hearts.

Then we need to thank the bands, there has been an estimate of something in the region of 900 bands a year setting up on our stage which is quite frankly a mind blowing number. We’ve been lucky enough to have early shows with the likes of Tame Impala, Wolf Alice, Fat White Family, Warpaint, Two Door Cinema Club, Wolfmother, Moonlandingz, Ezra Furman, Courtney Barnett, The Big Moon, B<ak and Pale Waves as well as the kind of people who got us all in to music in the first place like Damo Suzuki, Billy Childish, Wire, The Saints, Monochrome Set, Robert Forster, Lydia Lunch, Alison Moyet, Silver Apples, Jesus and Mary Chain. In the last year alone we we’re lucky enough to have the sort of bands who will shake the establishmentin 2019, bands like Crack Cloud, Bodega, Yowl, Fontaines DC, TVAM, The Lemon Twigs, Amyl & The Sniffers, Duds, Goat Girl, King Gizzard and the Wizzard Lizard, amongst many more.

That brings us to 2019 and a big fat excuse to bring some of our oldest friends back for a week of gigs! The Fat White Family, Future of the Left and Part Chimp lead the way with a bunch of exciting new supports in the form of Frauds, John, Pregoblin, Right Hand Left Hand.

These shows are all sold out so we’re giving away a pair of tickets to three lucky winners for their choice of show*, all you have to do is comment on this post over on facebook to let us know which gig you want to attend and tell us what has been your favourite ever gig at the lexington.
